The MyStart Plus™ system represents a comprehensive telematics solution designed for vehicle control and monitoring via smartphone. It offers rapid response times and a user-friendly interface, making it accessible for a wide range of users. Through the MyStart Plus™ application, users can perform various functions including locking and unlocking doors, remotely starting or stopping the engine, and locating their vehicle’s position.

An active internet connection is necessary to utilize the mobile application, either through cellular data or WiFi. The system operates on a 900 MHz wireless network, utilizing the Otodata Wireless Network infrastructure, which currently provides extensive coverage in Quebec and Ontario. Users may find the system's responsiveness notably superior in comparison to traditional remote key fob or cellular-based starters.

Key features of the MyStart Plus™ system include engine remote start and shutdown capabilities, keyless entry, trunk release, opening or closing of motorized liftgates (if equipped), arming and disarming of factory or aftermarket security systems, up to four customizable auxiliary functions, GPS positioning (with the GPS5040 unit), push notifications for troubleshooting and security alerts, battery condition monitoring, vehicle status updates, customizable vehicle imagery, a PIN code lock for the app interface, support for multiple vehicles and users, all operating over the 900 MHz wireless network.

The GPS location feature requires the optional GPS5040 unit. Compatibility with remote starters extends across several brands including ADS (e.g., iDataStart HCx, BMx), AstroStart (AF-D600 with adapter), Autostart (ASD200 and ASD600), CompuStar (e.g., CM-7XXX series), Directed (e.g., DBall 2, DS4+), Fortin (Evo-All, Evo-One), PolarStart (PRS-13, PRS-16). The system can also function independently in a standalone mode using only the GPS-5040 unit for location tracking.
